Panama Pacifico Infrastructure
Panama City — 86°
Interconnectivity on a Global Scale.
As a former U.S. Air Force Base, much of Panama Pacifico’s infrastructure was already in place. Both inside the community and outside the gates, Panama Pacifico benefits from connectivity to Panama’s leading suppliers of public works—many of which operate out of the Panama Canal. From premier electrical networks and potable waterworks to state-of-the-art roads and unmatched technological capability from five major submarine telecommunications loops, Panama Pacifico’s robust infrastructure caters to present and future generations.
Panama Pacifico is already home to an onsite shuttle bus system, which began in 2011. In 2012, additional elements of the new Transportation Demand Management system begin, including commuter buses, available to onsite employees.
Plans are in place to ultimately take the entire infrastructure system underground to preserve the community’s natural character and views.
