El Panamá América
A First-World Project in Panama Pacifico
With an investment of over $705 million, Panama Pacifico will be the first project of its kind in Latin America. The new commercial and residential community of Panama Pacifico is located just 15 minutes from the nation's capital. Master developer London & Regional Panama (LRP) plans to invest $100 million this year alone. The funds will go toward the construction of new roads and the first buildings in Panama Pacifico's new PanAmerica Corporate Center and International Business Park (IBP).
The aim is to create an international business hub, and high-profile companies—including Cabo Drilling Corp., Caterpillar, Dell, and MEC Repairs—are already lining up to participate. These and many other companies are flocking here primarily to take advantage of the special benefits offered by the Panama Pacifico Special Economic Zone.
The incentives offered here will help create a major regional and global logistic hub by allowing for easier distribution within the Latin America region as well as between the region and the rest of the world. Recently, Panama Pacifico held a special seminar to showcase these incentives. About 200 business representatives from around the world attended the event, which took place at Panama's biggest trade fair, Expocomer.
