Panama – Pacifico Special Economic Area Agency

The Panama-Pacifico Special Economic Area Agency (AEP) is the government agency responsible for providing a one-stop-shop for businesses located in Panama Pacifico, allowing businesses established in the area to save time and money by processing all governmental and legal requirements in one place.

The AEP also assists London & Regional, as master developer, with promotion and marketing of the project worldwide, in coordination with the government of Panama. The AEP manages the process for business set-up in Panama Pacifico, including working with companies that are established in the area related to:

• Requirements for establishing a business within Panama Pacifico
• Information about public services, negotiations and formalities with different governmental entities, contacting local suppliers in order to start their business in Panama, etc.
• Acting as the one-stop-shop for all business set on the project
• Coordinating with London & Regional in facilitating transitions to the project for companies coming to Panama Pacifico and/or Panama for the first time
