Edgar Hernandez, Construction Director
Edgar Hernandez is London & Regional Panama’s Construction Director. In this capacity, he is responsible for the general construction of all infrastructure, office, industrial buildings and residential areas being developed in Panama Pacifico. Prior to joining London & Regional Panama, Mr. Hernandez was General Manager and Vice President of the Residential Division (Ventaviv) of Constructora Urbana, S.A. (CUSA) in Panama City from 1980 to 1988, and again from 1992 to 2008. From 1988 to 1992, he worked as Project Manager at Redondo Construction Corporation in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was in charge of the river canalization and construction of bridges, highways and residential infrastructures.
Mr. Hernandez’s extensive experience encompasses all aspects of construction including design, project development, sales and post-sales in major developments in Panama.
His direct experience in successful and ongoing developments includes 15 years of work on the 225-hectare development of Villa Lucre including more than 5,000 residential units, schools, shopping centers and parks. Prior to that, he served for 12 years as Project Manager on the site-wide infrastructure construction of Costa del Este, including highways, pumping stations and all underground facilities. He developed several residential projects, including Costa Dorada (Costa del Este), Villas de Arraijan and Colinas de Pacora.
Mr. Hernandez received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1975, and a postgraduate in Business Administration in 2002 from INCAE Business School in San Jose, Costa Rica.
