Dan Marcus, Director of Development

Dan Marcus is London & Regional Panama´s Director of Development. In this capacity, he is responsible for implementing the vision and business plan for the new community at Panama Pacifico, as well as overseeing all real estate operations, development, construction, leasing and asset management.

Prior to joining London & Regional Panama and relocating to Panama in January 2008, Mr. Marcus was a Senior Vice President with ProLogis based in Mumbai, India and charged with initiating ProLogis´ business and developments within India. Prior to ProLogis´ acquisition of Catellus Development Corporation, Mr. Marcus was Catellus’ Senior Vice President, where he was responsible for all commercial development activities throughout Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. He joined Catellus in 1998.

Mr. Marcus’ extensive development experience includes all aspects of real estate transactions, including land acquisitions, building development, leasing and sales, land entitlements and as the lead liaison to government agencies, the community and customers. He has direct experience in planning, entitling and developing large, master-planned business parks, including Pacific Commons, an 800-acre development near San Francisco, California, Alameda Landing, a 200-acre redevelopment of the former Navy Industrial Supply Center near San Francisco, and the acquisition and redevelopment of 100 acres at the former Glenview Naval Air Station outside of Chicago, Illinois.

Mr. Marcus received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley in 1987, where he was on the Dean's List, a UCB Alumni Scholar, and received a Century III Leadership Scholarship. He received an MBA in Public and Private Management in 1991 from the Yale School of Organization and Management in New Haven, Connecticut.
